        Canceled my account because the prices are insanely high. They charged me for another month even after canceling because that's their "policy". Horrible company.

        Dont trust Astound's claims about being able to use your own modem. I tried to help my mom switch off their rented modem and they told me it was technically not possible due to the particulars of her plan. So she is stuck paying that ridiculous modem rental fee. It also took over 30 minutes on hold before I could get someone on from customer support on the phone.

        Astound increased my rate by over 50% over two years. They claim the speed in 600MB while it is below 200MB. I experienced few disconnections, they charged me for technical support.
