My daughter has been dancing at dance designs since she was 2 years old! We absolutely love the fun, positive, encouraging and energetic staff! Always willing to to create a positive environment for all children/adults to dance! The studio is an inclusive space for people of all abilities! I always recommend them to everyone I know! They also have a very clean waiting area with chairs, and plenty of space for parents and siblings to wait/watch. Thank you dance designs!

This place absolutely destroyed my daughters confidence in dance. Ms. Kara visibly did not like her and constantly dismissed her when she wasnt held to her standards of perfection. Mind you, shes four years old. That woman has no business being a teacher of young children and should be ashamed of the way she treated her through every class as well as at their recital when she immediately banned her within 5 minutes for being nervous. Im sure the audience of parents didnt expect perfection from the four year old groups. My daughters only issues was being nervous and instead of inspiring a little confidence she was met with eye rolls, and was angrily send her away immediately. I constantly witnessed this absolutely shameful display of teaching, but still tried to have my daughter over come a difficult situation since she truly wanted to dance, but I instead she was just given up on. I could understand if my daughter was truly taking time from the class with disruptions, however I watched every class and saw completely normal behavior from my child met by an incredibly short fuse and dismissal from her teacher. She constantly tells me how much she loves dance and wants to go to class but every time she was there she was met by passive aggression from her teacher and yes we all picked up on the fact that Ms. Kara did not even want her to be there. I hope Ms. Kara remembers my daughter, and remembers how she gave up on a four year old girl who wanted to dance, and made her cry almost every time she came to class. I hope she remembers her cries in the audience for a half an hour as she begged me to be able to perform when we had to wait for her sister. My daughter and I will never forget that. (The refund the director mentions in a response here are for prepaid sessions they have not yet participated in, not the ones that left long lasting scars on my child and myself. Also, my daughter walked away from me happily with the helpers at the recital, then was brought back 5 minutes by the teacher crying and telling me she wanted to be in the recital. I reiterated this to the Ms. Kara and she walked away from us saying, no, no, no! That is not giving her a chance at all. Parents, youve heard my experience and seen how the director reacts when you try to stand up for your child. The decision is yours to do business with them.) At this point theyve changed their response so many times I cant keep up. They have my phone number and email, the only place they have been blocked is by the directors person Facebook, she messaged me there after blocking me from the dance designs page. Other recent review claiming the opposite of my experience have appeared on here from fake profiles. The extent this company will go to cover up the fact that my daughter wasnt given a fair chance and admit that they were wrong is incredible to see. Shame on them all.
