Minuteman High School

The vocational teachers are great but academic is not the greatest. Depending on what vocation you go into, minuteman definitely helps.

I came to minuteman as a junior, and I can assure you that this school is unbelievably easy. I have gotten straight A's in all my honors classes. Now, I am a senior and I am in two duel enrollment classes, which tend to cause an educational purpose to the school. The school provides no college support, causing the students to fend for themselves. If you are looking to proceed a job in a trade, This school will help you attain knowledge to help you start off that career. A ton of kids do drugs in and out of school, the discipline tends to lack tremendously. You will be bound to make friends easily, at least that is through my perception of the social aspect of the school.

I graduated from Minuteman many years ago and it gave me a great foundation, I was in the Healthcare shop. My first job out of high school was a well-paying healthcare job. It prepared me for what I would become and now I work for a major global healthcare company. When I was there, there was a Mcdonald's in the school. The Academics were stronger. And we had a really good soccer and basketball team. Seems like it has had quite the downfall since then. The school was huge and clean, I don't know what happened.I came from outside the district and they gave me a chance. If they hadn't my life would be very different now, I can't say I would be this successful. Minuteman please open up your school choice program again, save the kids from the inner city and give them a chance!!!
