Not that impressed to be honest. I had high hopes for this place but was let down very fast

Our kids love taking piano and violin lessons here. They are engaged and enthusiastic about their lessons. When the kids have suggested things they want to learn, the teachers have worked with them on it and didn't shut it down to rigidly stick to a plan; Instead, doing part formal teaching and part assist in the curiosity. It's adaptive and creative. I highly recommend.

We have done numerous types of lessons at Steeple Street and have always been so incredibly pleased with the knowledge, professionalism, and warmth of all of the staff. Highly recommend!

This is a wonderful music school! I took private voice lessons over several months with one of the Steeple Street instructors, Madison Mayer; she really helped me with my singing, gave me lots of great hints, and was very energetic and encouraging. As an adult learner, I had specific ideas about what I wanted to work on, and she was happy to go along with them, but I know she also taught lots of kids, and from hearing her interact with them, I know she was able to adjust her teaching style for the needs of different students. The building has been completely remodeled and has lots of individual music rooms on one side, the preschool on the other, and is a pleasure to be in: lots of light, instruments, and original artwork (they also do art programs there). I know some of the other music instructors and they are all very good; there is a wide range of styles and instruments that they cover. It was easy to set up a regular lesson time, and I got text and email reminders every week about upcoming lessons, which was very helpful. And it was easy to work with the office to set up a replacement lesson time if necessary. I've known the owners, Demetrius and Kate, for almost six years, and they have deep roots in music education and performance. What else? It was easy to find parking! Finally, Steeple Street sponsors songwriting contests and performances, and works with Mashpee Commons on special events, so I feel they are really a special resource, and a great addtion to the community.

My daughters have been taking lessons at Steeple Street for over a year (one piano and one guitar). They love their instructors and at the end of each lessons, they walk out to the car with a smile on their face. Katherine she wears all the hats. When I first reached out about lessons she was responsive and informative. Any time I need to cancel a class for whatever reason shes always understanding and accommodating. With two kids taking lessons - she worked with me to find a day / time they could both have lessons so I only have to drive once. With random cancellations because one is sick or time restraints to get there shes been gracious and offered remote lessons. That flexibility and understanding really means a lot. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this school. Demetrius and Katherine are invested in the community. They are such a valuable addition to Mashpee and the surrounding communities.
