Positively Goats

I am so glad to have found Positively Goats! My daughter was going through a very tough time socially, so connecting with animals was a great step toward improvement in such an important area of life. Anishe is simply outstanding! She is accepting and supportive of my daughter all while teaching safety and respect for boundaries. We will definitely be back in the warmer months but we thoroughly enjoyed ALL of our visits - regardless of the weather! The goats are all well socialized and trained, and we never felt uncomfortable or unsafe. Seeing the familiar animals each week was such a boost for my daughters self confidence and comfort in trying new ways of interacting. Anishe tailored our visits to suit my daughters preferences and needs, and she was available to chat outside of the visits to share observations, notes, etc. I highly recommend PG regardless if your child needs a shake-up to their everyday social scene, or not. This is truly a beautiful, special place, and has done so much for our daughter and our family!

My son has enjoyed his Summer Camp experiences at Positively Goats for the past 2 years. In fact, he loved it so much in 2022, that he decided to do a second week this year (2023)! He has learned endless knowledge about goats while making strong connections with the animals. This helps his anxiety, and it also gives him a sense of purpose. He has become attached to this special group of goats, so we schedule visits throughout the school year. Watching him in this special place shows me how much his connection to nature and these goats helps him be happier. Anishe and her staff are friendly, patient and genuinely enjoy mentoring the kids through the Positively Goats experience. I highly recommend this program!

My family had the pleasure of visiting with Anishe and her lovely herd on Labor Day this year. Anishe was so gracious and informative about the farm and the goats. She was especially attentive to my 4 year old granddaughter who continues to talk about this experience and the lovely time she had. This is a beautiful property in a welcoming setting.

We had a wonderful visit with Positively Goats! From start to finish, the process was seamless and easy. We had to cancel and re-book due to illness and Anishe, the owner, was so accommodating and flexible; her communication was clear and prompt, and she was truly happy to work with us in finding a time to visit her farm. The visit itself was fantastic. Anishe was engaged, kind and patient with our four year old daughter. She was happy to answer all of our questions about the goats and her beautiful farm we even had the chance to say a quick hello to the horses! Further, Anishe stayed with us for the duration of our visit and provided details about each of her beloved goats including their individual personalities and relationships to one another. We also had the chance to partake in some caretaking tasks, which my daughter loved! We gently pet and brushed the goats, and were even encouraged to feed them! Overall, it was an extremely positive experience and we will cherish these memories forever! We are looking forward to visiting the goats again with additional family members and enjoying more time on Anishes beautiful farm.
