Sassamon Trace Golf Course

Love this course, the players and staff are very friendly, great lessons too!

Not a bad little course, shot my first hole in one here on hole #1 April 23rd last year. Nice short course to get a quick 9 in after work.

Beautiful and well maintained course in a great location. Only gave 3 stars because we were told that 7:45pm was when we would need to stop playing, at 7:40pm we were hitting from the fairway onto the green of the 9th and final hole and were told we had to pick up and couldn't finish the hole. Finishing the hole would have taken us at most an additional 3mins and we would have been out of there. I was bummed that they could not be courteous to their customers and allow them the additional few minutes to finish their round, but I understand that it is a business at the end of the day and profit is most important. I will likely go elsewhere in the future but the course was beautiful!

Sassamon is a fantastic executive municipal course. The greens are fast and tricky (in a good way). The course layout is thoughtful, with four great holes exposed to the wind links-style, and five holes built in a more traditional parkland style. I really appreciate that the course is partially built on a capped landfill, which is one of the best ways to use this sort of space. The course even uses thoughtful irrigation techniques to ensure minimal environmental impact. Lastly, the prices are very reasonable for the area. I cant recommend Sassamon enough!
