D&D Mulch and Landscape

We bought 20 cubic yards of what we were told was screened loam. The price and delivery were great, but the product has been disappointing. After spreading the loam throughout our backyard, the amount of rocks that have appeared in what we were told and thought was screened is unbelievable. Our yard is absolutely covered in rocks which will make seeding and growing our grass extremely difficult and the appearance and feel less than ideal. Im not sure if this was a one off incident or if this is normal, but we are extremely displeased with the product. Photos included just to show the rocks that have appeared.

Scheduling was easy and the driver was friendly. Quality of the product was poor - firewood was quite wet and full of debris.  Spent a fair amount of time cleaning up the mess in the driveway.  At this point, the wood is only good for outdoor fires.  Will need to find another vendor to deliver dry wood suitable for indoor use.

Great service. Tim at the Hudson location on Rte 62 was super friendly and helpful. He took the time to go over everything and answer all of our questions. We ordered through him but the website is also pretty easy to use if that's your thing. Very competitive prices and free delivery when you buy over a certain amount, which was a game changer for us. We ordered several yards of black mulch and one of the 3/4 inch blue stone. Very happy with the results. They were able to accommodate our delivery schedule and the drivers were also very friendly and helpful. Will be going back!

Had 3 yards of loam delivered.   Great price, great job delivering, not a good product.   Too many wood chips and small rocks in the loam.   Last year the driver refused to drop the load where I wanted.  I had to move almost 30 wheelbarrow loads 100 feet.   Time to try another vendor.
