Mass General Brigham Urgent Care - Natick

Walking into the main lobby, you are greeted by the receptionist who takes your ailment, insurance and payment. Had to come in waited about five minutes and was taken into the exam room where a nurse asked questions, took vitals and later blood sample and nose swabs. The doctor came in after the test results were available. She explained next steps and prescribed medication to my pharmacy. All during this process everyone was professional, kind, and informative. I appreciate the great care at this urgent care.

The worst urgent care facility I ever visited n I had visited quite a number across the country in various regions including Alaska and hawaii. I had dismissed the low rating I saw and chose to believe in the reputation of mass general and Brigham and Women. I was wrong. Do pay attention to the reviews. I think overall the facility is not quite up to standard. The receptionist seemed so disinterested and wanted you to disappear. The staff were so overly casual, more interested in socializing among themselves, granted it was close to Xmas, but still. I was not seen by a doctor but a nurse practitioner who, to me, lacked confidence and went by the books with no attention to urgent needs and patients unique conditions. . When I had a similar experience in hawaii, , the urgent care physician with emergency medicine training gave me nebulizer treatment with medication immediately considering my age at 78 . She DID nothing !!!! I asked and she said they had instructions not to give nebulizer treatment . She did not take age or condition and vulnerability into consideration She just prescribed prednisone n inhaler and after five days I had no relief and still coughing day n night . A confident doctor would have relieved my misery and weigh the treatment need and helped to loosen my airway right there at the clinic. I could have even worse outcome if I had not sought alternative treatment few days later So I conclude: I did not receive the treatment I felt I deserved n knew I needed , based from previous treatment experiences . Mass general and brighan are supposedly more reputable than the urgent care clinics I used before with similar circumstances My recommendation : DO NOT GO THERE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE you put yourself at risk . OR MASS GENERAL AND BRIGMAN, lift up to live up to your reputation

I had an abscess drained here today, and the person who did the procedure was very professional & experienced. They did a great job & was very helpful
