My friend and I went to one of the pottery workshops at lamplighter brewery and had so much fun! I made two little pots and still had more clay to take home. Sam is nice and provides great instruction

My friends and I made this a Sunday morning activity and it honestly was probably one of the best Sundays I've had in a long time. This partcular workshop offered a unique twist a delightful coffee tasting and educational experience before getting your hands dirty with clay mug making. The setup was inviting, there was a well-organized workspace, and the instructor who was so friendly, set a warm and welcoming tone for the class. The instructor guided us through the process with patience and expertise, ensuring that even beginners felt confident in creating their own unique pieces. The combination of hands-on experience and detailed explanations made the class accessible and enjoyable for all skill levels. What truly set this pottery class apart was the coffee tasting session intertwined with the creative process. The first 20 mins of the workshop was dedicated to tasting different coffee's, each with its own distinct flavor profile. The person presenting shared insights into the origin, roasting process etc. As someone who appreciates a good cup of coffee, I found the educational component to be really great. The coffee tasting not only awakened my taste buds but also provided a deeper understanding of the complexities of coffee, specifically Vietnamese coffee. It was evident that the instructor was passionate about coffee and his enthusiasm was infectious. The ambiance, the creative energy, and the delicious coffee made the class not just a lesson in pottery but a holistic sensory journey. This was all an enriching experience so, whether you're a seasoned potter, a coffee connoisseur, or someone looking for a unique and enjoyable activity, I highly recommend this class. It's a perfect class and gives a newfound appreciation for the art of crafting and brewing.
