I don't know what kind of experience you all had. But my son loves Pulaski and his teachers. I also live his teachers and the faculty in that school. They are awesome at what they do and have given my son the opportunity to want to better himself and be invloved in school. They are family in our eyes.

This school is difficult to review for two reasons. 1. My daughter attended this school for almost 2 years under difficult circumstances, that had nothing to do with the actual school. Her experience wasn't the norm. 2. I wasn't able to watch the transitions from grade to grade and compare. However I was very pleased with the extra life skills she left there with. Though they set higher standards than either of her previous schools - they matched it with excellence in staffing and real support. In her few years there she received several mini-awards like "caught being a good friend" and "staff member recognition for being a good role model." They set standards that were age appropriate for behavior and learning and development. It being her first year there the actual rate at which the lesson plans were given, and the homework reinforcement was very overwhelming. I should mention they were also screening children for needs like my daughters. Missing large parts of the fundamentals required more help later. At first I was aggravated and even thinking it was a detriment, till I saw how her character was rewarded for outshining her grades. She caught the pace and was tired but pleased with herself. Dropping off and picking up a student is a nightmare. However they have managed to make the town cooperate with their start and stop times. They made a difficult transition period for my whole family more "personal" for her. Achieving her own level of stability and confidence in school prepared her for the next challenge.
