While the plumber was professional and resolved the (minor) issue, the visit and singular piece replaced were extremely expensive. I felt completely taken advantage. I will never use or recommend this company.

Dave is a consummate professionalknowledgeable, and affable.
My one piece Kohler toilet required more skill than the typical toilet valve repair, the valve stem had to be replaced as well. Also, this is a tight spot to get into. Dave and his trainee got it done right. You cant exceed the service and support of Baker Elman.

Accurate Baker Elman are dishonest and unprofessional. Their refusal to provide any information to the homeowner in the case of a serious leak in our hometheir pairing with an equally dishonest and unprofessional remediation company, Service Master Elite, out of New Hampshire, to bully this homeowner, bouncing her back and forth, refusing to provide any information on what was wrong and what was going onled to serious delays and significant damage, not to mention the toll that their bullying took on my ability to work smoothly with the insurance company to get repairs done. Stay as far away as you can from both these companies. Service: Plumbing leak detection

After carefully reviewing a number of vendors to redo our homes hvac system, we chose Accurate Baker Elman. This was to rip out radiators and install a whole home heat pump system in a five bedroom home. The sales process was great and both Dave and Gary were responsive to our needs and helped design a system that fit what we were looking for. Aside from. Josh, Darius and Steve (more on them later) that is where the positive experience has turned into a nightmare.
During our final walkthrough, we had requested a quote to get all recessed lighting put in, where Doug came. We had asked several times to get a quote, but that never materialized. That was supposed to be from Wilson Brothers, a sister company of Accurate Baker Elman. Doug has still never sent the quote that was 8 weeks ago. A week before the install Dave came by to warn neighbors that there would be numerous trucks trucks in the road and provide his contact info in the event they needed to move. Thursday of that week, two days before the project was supposed to start, they had sent a crew to remove the radiators, and therefore the heat source of the house. The installers were supposed to be there in force the next day, or at least according to Catherine and the job was still scheduled to be completed by the following Friday. That didnt happen. The next day two people showed up, Darius and Josh. Both of them were great, and I couldnt have been happier with the work they did. Knowing the job was started earlier than anticipated, I didnt think anything of the low number of people there. Monday rolled around and the same people came. Same thing happened Tuesday, which point I asked Josh when the others were coming, and he broke the news that they werent. I immediately called Catherine, where she said they had booked two other large jobs and this would be the extent of the crew. I was not happy to say the least as we didnt have heat at the end of October and it was starting to get quite cold. She told me additional crews would show up the next day.. they did, to the tune of one additional person arriving at 1:00.
At this point, realizing we likely wouldnt have heat until December, I told them they can either get a larger crew here, or remove everything so we can get an actual professional company, and to this day, I wish we did the latter. Steve called me, and he was also great to work with. He ensured additional crews were to arrive the next day and the heat would be working by the end of the week. He did, but the project was still not completed on time. It took an additional week and another contentious call with Catherine to ensure that would even happen.
One month later, during a call to schedule inspections on other work we had done, I had asked the town when they would come out to be inspecting the HVAC Accurate never pulled the permit.. while I wish the saga of dealing with Accurate Baker Elman was over, it continues. To this day, I have yet to get an apology from anyone but Steve, and zero communication from anyone else at the company aside from Dave and Beth.. even Gary hasnt responded to calls or texts.
To summarize, if you are looking to get heat pumps installed, be well aware that timelines are irrelevant, permits are optional and customer service is a severe afterthought. Dont walk, run away from them.
