        Our new ductless, mini-split air-sourced "one ton" heat pump installation was done two months ago (January 2024) by the Pespisa Company of Billerica, MA after interviewing about four heat pump contractors. Pespisa had nearly the best price and reviews were good. The design was modified to compensate for conflicts with a window shutter, a cabinet door and to reduce the impact on the street view of the building. The work was done on schedule and they were very good on cleanliness with shoe coverings and careful well planned work. Their work effectively replaced one of our house heating zones resulting in a major reduction in the time our gas boiler runs to heat the home. We've had an unusually warm winter so there was no big test. The air conditioner side of the heat pump installation will not be tested until summer. Colin Pespisa with the Pespisa Company is highly recommended for such work.
