One of the vet techs is incredibly rude and the other is disorganized/doesnt seem to know what she is doing. One of them had me drive all the way to the office to pick up a script just to tell me when I arrived it wasn't signed by the vet yet and couldnt be picked up. Come to find out later that week it had been ready the whole time. They also wouldnt fax my scripts to the pharmacy because of some watermark issue. After so many unpleasant experiences with the rude and incompetent vet techs, I had had enough and called another vet to switch. When the vet called to retrieve the paperwork the vet tech started prodding them aggressively with questions saying what, are they switching vets now? They were just here Monday for bloodwork and was simply speaking of us in an unprofessional manner. This confirmed my opinions of them and why I was making the right choice to leave. This place seems to be more for profit than anything as visits were 10min long and usually cost $250 since they push bloodwork. The vet should really look into this as she will likely continue to lose more customers due to her rude staff. After reading other peoples reviews I am ashamed I ever gave this establishment any business and let them touch my dogs

This is a long review but it's important to relate the full story. Over the years, we've taken several animals, both dogs and cats to Dr. Saxon and have had reasonably good luck. However, the techs were always a bit condescending and abrupt. I always just sort of wrote it off as them having a rough day, etc. In March of 2023, one of our cats was diagnosed with diabetes by Dr. Saxon. This requires several months of glucose testing and insulin adjustments. Things were going OK and I got a call at the end of October after having a glucose level check performed and the tech told me that our cats glucose levels were low and that might mean that his diabetes was going into remission. She told me to reduce his insulin injections from 8 units 2x/ day to 4 units 2x/day and to come in in 3 weeks. I specifically asked, that's November 17th, right? She confirmed and said, "Yup, we'll see you then." and we got off the phone. On the 16th, I called the office because I wasn't sure of the time of the appointment on the 17th. When the tech (Ashley, I believe is her name) answered the phone and I asked about what time to come in, she launched into a vicious tirade about how I had no appointment and that no one told me that I did and that there was NO WAY that anyone told me to go to 4 units from 8 units and that I was wrong on all counts. She told me, "I'm going to go get the chart and see what was really said." A moment later she came back on the phone and, somewhat humbled said, "So it was me that you spoke with and I did tell you to go down to 4 units and that you needed to bring him in for a recheck in 3 weeks, which would be the 17th." When I asked her why she said all those mean and incorrect things to me, she got even more rude and insisted that I was wrong and she was right, even though she JUST verified with HER notes that everything I said was completely accurate. I kept trying to de-escalate the situation and just get a time to bring my cat in and she INSISTED on continuing to argue with me. When she finally wore herself out, she said, "OK, our next available appointment is on the 22nd, do you want a reminder call this time?" Disheartened and just wanting to end the abusive call, I agreed and we got off the phone. I made other arrangements with another vet with whom we have a good relationship and my cat is now doing better by leaps and bounds. While Dr. Saxon's heart may be in the right place, her staff is rude, argumentative and just downright mean. I thought that it might have been a fluke, but it's clear, given the other reviews here that this has been going on for some time and that Dr. Saxon doesn't care to do anything about the way her patients are treated by her staff. No wonder there are never any cars in the lot and the other vets offices are so busy.
