The course is very well done and organized, I feel like I am ready to perform CPR and FA should an emergency happen.

This was my second time completing Code One's AHA-approved ACLS certification course. I did the first recert two years ago in Hartford, CT and today in Northampton, MA. Both were equally well executed. Before coming to the hands-on session, one has to successfullycomplete the on-line AHA course material. During the skills session I provided CPR to the computerized manikin, and the instructor is connected via two-way video link. As a practicing anesthesiologist, sometimes in austere environments, I really need to understand the protocolsand logic underlyingthe algorithms. The course also reviews stroke management and acute coronary syndromes in detail. The reading, case scenarios, algorithms, and guided learning modules were top tier, and worth the hours of study. Samantha, today's experienced instructor, was a skillful teacher and clearly an expert in resuscitation.
