Yes, there is a huge amount of paperwork but it is worth it. My children were better prepared for kindergarten than their peers. They received healthy lunch and snacks and learned so much. The teachers listened to my concerns and help my family develop a plan when there was a need. About 6 years ago things started to changed and the place has been improving ever since!

The head start program is a nightmare burocracy i wouldnt wish on my worse enemy. Instead of trying explain my options and help me enroll my child they have tried to find any reason they can to tell me why my child can't attend. I was even told that they don't have a wait list and that I would have to call back every single day to check and see if a spot opened. I since found out that is a complete falsehood.
