I started taking piano lessons with Monica in October 2021 at the age of 66. In that short period I have learned to read music and play songs. Monica is very easy to work with and genuinely cares about you not only as a student but as a person. She is also very flexible with respect to scheduling Zoom lessons when traveling or unable to make it to her studio.

My daughter met Monica at age 8, a shy girl with some anxiety but a want to sing. Monica met her at her level, catering to her interest in musicians and suddenly she was playing ukulele and singing! Learning music without even realizing she was doing it. She even performed on stage with an audience! Not only has it help her find her voice, and confidence, but it created many new friendships over the last 6 years. The skills and life lessons this brought to her world are immeasurable to us.

Monica is a wonderful teacher! As an adult learner new to the violin, she has shown me lots of patience and good humor over the past year! Her passion for music and enthusiasm in sharing it with her students is so appreciated. I highly recommend her!

I started taking adult guitar lessons about six months ago. It has been a fun and rewarding experience. Monica is very professional and knowledgeable. A great place for lessons and meeting fellow students.
