Quincy Credit Union

Ive had Quincy Credit Union for years and never had an issue. Over the last year I lost my job, had no income. There were things I was still subscribed to that would occasionally take money out of my account. I owed the bank $37. They closed my account, which is fine, but I went to pay off my debt and open another account. I was told I could do this, get a new card and be fine in time for my first paycheck over the phone. When I arrived I was met with an inexperienced teller, an employee commenting on my physical appearance and the manager never even saw me. The only person who actually helped me was named Ashley A. I wasnt able to open up another checking account as a punishment for what happened even after fixing it. I was told it would be fine, what a waste of time. Get your staff in order so that nothing like this ever happens again. Now Im even more broke than before and have no bank account. Thanks for absolutely nothing.

Follow up on previous review **I received a phone call from QCU stating that the 1099 was sent out in error and I would be receiving an amended statement. I appreciate the call from QCU and that this mistake will be rectified.

They tax the amount of cash back I received from their credit card. I received a 1099-INT statement for 48.00. I only have 5.00 in a savings with them!!! They said it was because it was deposited into the savings and not applied to the card balance. According to IRS- CASH BACK is a rebate!!! BEWARE!!! closing out my accts at this bank!!!

We have been working with Amanda in the loan dept. for our Home Equity line of credit over the past few years. She is absolutely incredible. If you are looking for someone who cares about her customers, this woman is your go to. We cannot say enough good things about her.
