The Cooperative Nature School at The Trustees Moose Hill Farm

The Cooperative Nature School is a fantastic and unique outdoor-oriented preschool experience that fosters curiosity, an appreciation for nature and a great sense of community. My son came home from school every day eager to share what he had learned from his amazing educators. He has grown leaps and bounds both academically and socially, and entered Kindergarten well-prepared and eager to continue his academic journey.

We are at our second year at the Nature School and could not be happier with the level of care and instruction on this absolutely beautiful space. Instead of learning in chairs and playing in a small, enclosed play area like many schools, this environment provides learning while experiencing and exploring acres of beautiful nature. It teaches students to ask questions and inquire about possible answers-- skills that, as a high school teacher, I know are indicators of success that are important to establish early.

Our experience at the Nature school has been beyond amazing. My kids are not only learning all the basics to be ready for kindergarten (my older child started kindergarten this year and both were at the preschool last year) but they learn to love and appreciate nature. The beauty and tranquility of the land on their morning hike brings a peacefulness to their upbringing. The teachers are exceptional as role models. I've experienced 3 different preschools and there is no comparison. All schooling should be like this.

Respect for nature creates kinder more inquisitive people. The Nature School is a wonderful place with experts who prioritize exploration and development for kids. A+

As a mom, teacher and outdoor enthusiast I say with hesitation that the Nature School has been the single best educational experience we have had for our children. The staff is dedicated and thoughtful, the curriculum is fun and engaging and the sense of community and connectivity is simply a blessing. Thank you SNS!!!!!
