Extremely positive experience. The practice is very well run. Friendly and helpful staff. The hygienist team is superb. And Dr Nick is a great doc and a great guy. As a physician myself, its clear that he is skilled, experienced and truly cares about the patient. Couldnt ask for a better dentist.

Like many I have a great deal of anxiety about going to the dentist. And because of this, I let my visits slide during the pandemic and then fell off the wagon completely. As a result I had eroded fillings and several cavities. During my initial cleaning and consult, Haley was super accommodating and made me feel so comfortable. The office feels super well thought out, they have tvs with soothing imagery and sound, and it feels super clean and bright. During my first appointment to fix my fillings, I was beyond nervous. But Madeline was so nice and friendly and Dr. Nick was so gracious and funny, and an expert at his craft. Not only did I not feel even hint of fear inducing sensation, he simultaneously talked me through what he was doing, while telling funny stories and making me feel so comfortable that a third of the way through I was no longer nervous. They were also so thorough, moved quickly and efficiently and even took pictures to show me the procedure start to finish. I am beyond grateful to not only receive methodical, thorough, and expert care, but also to work with a dentist who is funny and compassionate towards how I was feeling. Literally, the best dental experience Ive had. I have a few more fillings to do, and Im literally not nervous at all now! If you want a dentist and team that are thorough, and supportive every step of the way, as well as excellent at their craft, I highly recommend Somerville Family Dental!
