    My recent visit to the UPS Store was a total letdown. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful, and the service was incredibly slow. They seemed clueless about their own services and couldn't give me a clear answer about shipping times.

    I hate to write negative reviews of places and hurt someone's business, but I think that other consumers deserve to know that Sudbury UPS is not reliable in terms of completing print jobs when promised and according to specifications. I submitted two jobs on a Thursday and received a notice that they would be ready 11 AM Friday. On Friday I received two emails with such tiny print I could not read them. When I went to pick up the jobs Sunday, only one was ready. The owner had to spend about half an hour finding my request to print the second, which had not even been started. When I complained that it was very important for me to have this completed job and I did not like the fact that it had not even been started, he blamed me for not coming into the store earlier. When I got the jobs home (they were birthday presents for two young children who were waiting at my house) half of the one that had been ready was printed on the wrong paper stock. I don't know why a business would be so behind schedule and inaccurate and then blame the customer instead of apologizing. Had the owner apologized, I might have thought this was just one of the many mishaps that occur, and that this was just an unfortunate fluke, but his attitude towards me made me wary of patronizing this UPS.

    Fees for faxing are way too high. After I asked the staff to fax 4 pages, once it was done, she informed me that it was > $10. In my wildest dreams, I couldn't have imagined that faxing was more than $0.50 / page. The phone call is free, it takes 10 seconds, and the fax machine is < $100. I'm fine paying for faxing, I don't have a fax machine so it is valuable. However, if you are going to upcharge faxing this much, you need to have transparent prices posted. Or say, "FYI, this may seem crazy, but 4 pages will be > $10". For anyone considering using the UPS store for faxing, the library will do it for a reasonable cost or free. I told the staff working there that I thought they needed to be more transparent about their pricing. They did not agree and simply told me that they gave me what I asked them for. Overall a poor experience and I'll use the other options in town.
