Bright Horizons at Waltham

My two little girls have been going here since they were infants and they both love it. Teachers and staff are great and location works well for us.

We have been with BH at the Waltham center since Jan 2017 and we love this place a lot. The teachers, including the admins, have been so loving, caring, nurturing and very knowledgeable in early child development, and I always think of them as our families. When we were first-time parents, we went to the teachers for a lot of advices and they are always very supportive. What I love about this center is their play-based learning environment, they do a lot of science experiments, introduce the writing skill when they are at pre-school age, bring out their creativity (painting, art, craft work), and they also make sure kids have appropriate outside time (they have their own playgrounds for both toddlers and preschoolers). As working parents, we also love the hours they offer (post-COVID - 7:30 - 5:30), and they are one of the few centers that would open for most of the winter break (but it's not holiday at work) which give us flexibility and a relief when it comes to child care. The center also does a very good job post-COVID and have many protocols in place (smaller size of enrollment, temp check, health screenings, frequent classroom/toys cleaning, and teachers wearing masks) and have reinforced the importance of hand washing for the children. Overall, we are very happy with the center and our kids have thrived there. I would definitely recommend this place to all the people who are looking for a quality child care center.

I really could not be happier with this childcare program. Both of my girls have been attending since they were infants, and I have been so happy with every teacher that they have had It is clear that the teachers love children and are committed to creating a learning environment that encourages kindness, creativity and safety. I think that the director of the program, Daniela, is truly remarkable- she is easy to reach if I have any questions, and clearly knows each child well. The center has navigated COVID beautifully. We had our son enrolled for over a year at BH Waltham before recently transferring him to BH Sudbury for only for convenience. We feel on the whole the Waltham center was wonderful and enriching! Our son started there in the infant program, and when the centers closed due to COVID-19 we were left feeling overwhelmed like many families. During the closure we were kept informed of the changes and plans to re open the centers, and felt very comfortable with the new strict health and safety protocols put in place. My husband and I felt comfortable with sending our son back to daycare, even with the uncertainty this pandemic has brought, and we even noticed a positive change in him at the start of being back with his teachers and friends. The teachers and staff are caring, and professional and have kept us closely informed of any changes or issues they are great with communication. Thanks to our teachers at Bright Horizon Waltham for your commitment to the children!
