Most of the comments here revolve around a YouTube video by INSTIGATORS. If the person in that YouTube video did this in any other MA town, the result would be the same. The police have better things to do than be harassed and baited. If you were the chief, you would be annoyed too. Don’t watch YouTube videos of people who want to get attention by doing annoying things. By the way, few of the reviewers have even BEEN to Wayland. Don’t post from Arizona or West Virginia or wherever.

Wow! Your chief of police Patrick Swanick has to be the most offensive and corrupt officer ever! What was the thought processing hiring this guy? Any concerns for liability (or do you have money to burn)?
I will forward my notes to the state and federal authorities. At a minimum no one will be able to claim a lack of knowledge for his demeaning treatment of citizens and total lack of legal knowledge. I understand offers aren’t lawyers, but by the time you’ve reached the position of Chief, I’d hope you would have more knowledge than most security guards starting out a minimum wage.
I sincerely hope this town is recognized as a complete affront to human rights until this gentleman is dismissed to work a mall in North Korea.
