        We have found this center to be a warm and loving place for our son. Teachers and administration have been understanding and supportive of our sons needs, and we have formed close relationships with some of the staff that will last beyond his time at the center. For a while, we moved to a different KinderCare center when we moved house, but it paled in comparison to Wellesley in terms of how welcome my son and my husband and I felt, so we moved him back to Wellesley as soon as they had a spot open. There has been some staff turnover in the two years he has been there (no different than all daycares nationwide), but many key members of staff have remained there the whole time and have a depth of experience/knowledge in the field of early childhood care.

        My concern with this daycare is that there was a fire drill and I was out there. I am a foster parent and the kids are supposed to be away from the building. The kids were leaning on the wall against the building. The alarms went off. It wasnt a fire drill. The firefighters took a little bit longer to get there. They came out very very late And the kids were all over the place. The children need to be away from the building when theres an alarm whether its a fire drill or not. I call for the Director. I spoke to the assistant Director and she just told me that she knew what she was doing. Thats a safety issue. If it wouldve been a real fire, those kids were leaning on glass windows against the brick wall and they couldve been more damaging consequences. Please attend to this issue for the safety of the children and your staff.
