Washburn House

Washburn has saved my life a few times. Whenever I was down and out and needed to get help, Washburn was always there. The staff was caring, considerate, understanding & they became like a second family. Washburn was a second home. Its been a couple years since Ive been because of a stupid altercation and they had no choice but to discharge me but I still dont have one bad word to say about the place.

Ive been at Washburn house a few times and every time Ive walked through that door everyone there welcomed me never judged me and always helped me keep my head up in a time I felt so defeated and hopeless, they never give up on you no matter how many times you wanna give up on yourself if you or a family member are in need of these types of services Washburn house is the way to go the staff there are incredible ! Im clean now and Washburn staff played a big part in that ! Thankyou guys for everything

This placed saved my life when I was down in the dumps ready to give up on life because nobody would want to be around me including my own mother so when I was put into this program at the time I was greeted with the utmost respect making me feel like a human again and not like a monster because that is what the disease did to me it ate me up chewed me to pieces before spitting me out because my disease had me in turmoil when I was ready to give up not only was an alcoholic I also was a drug attic to go along also with my mental state being in despair but this place was one.of the cleanest detours where like I said they made.me.feel like family and let me recover in detox for a little over a week than I was placed next door at.the CSS this was just a beautiful and elegant place where they made you feel like family also and they gave me the attention I needed for my life to get back on track because like I said before I am an alcoholic I am a drug addiction and I am a mental train wreck but they treated my recovery and.my.well being with the utmost care and the most utmost respect because this disease is no joke because once you die you die this is not a video game where you come back to play another day this life is not a movie this life is a nightmare but they were helping me prepare to be a better.person in life with showing me there was more to being an addict that I was not alone with my depression anxiety or P.T.S.D so like I said they treated me like the family that I needed because I was in despair because like I said they showed me I had a purpose to live they showed me recovery is real theyshowed me by going to these groups I would learn a whole lot more about this disease because deep down in my heart I was stubborn as ever but I would highly definitely recommend this place if you are trying to put that demon in that box because they made me realize that I am an addict til the day I die so they took their time to guide me with my recovery and showed me how to live this place was also a historic atmosphere in the Webster Square area of beautiful Worcester Massachusetts the place was elegant the case management did a phenomenal job with transferring up the street towards Airport Hill where they had a 99 day dual diagnosis or 30 day extension to the CSS that is where I met some of the utmost respect people in recoverythat me a believer and showed me that thru outside commitments that would later lead me to the directions of meetings so they saved my life I gained some the greatest relationships with people who not only became my friends but they became my extended family and I forever grateful for this place for believing in me forshowing me there was more to life than instead of drink alcohol everyday that there more to life than getting dazed and confused because getting HIGH I was.not I was literally destroying my life and they showed me that I was not the only one in recovery that had a serious mental health problem I also acquired some of the greatest relationships with the employees of Washburn and I am also proudly to say I am an Alumni of Washburn Recovery I would highly recommend this place if you are trying to save your life once again my name is Jason and I am a recovering addict who now fully believes I am not a number or a statistic to a disease that is 99.9% undefeated with knocking people out or taking them out if you are serious just pick up the phone you are someone that can do it I recommend this place for the next step in your recovery
