Bay State Savings Bank

I am a local amateur photographer; today, March 13th as I was walking around downtown Worcester I happened to stop in front of Bay State Savings Bank on Franklin Street. I was adjusting my camera settings when several employees of Bay State decided to come outside and harass me saying that I have no right to be on the sidewalk by the Bank; I was asked what I was doing and I said I was taking pictures; then I was asked why I was taking pictures; when my answers proved unsatisfactory to the employees who confronted me I was ordered to move on or they would call the police! I tried to inform them that I was doing nothing wrong and I had a right to be on a public sidewalk. I said I would wait for the Police which I did. When the Police arrived they confirmed that I had not broken any laws and then one of the Officers went inside the Bank to educate the employees of the bank! Maybe next time instead of violating a persons rights the employees of Bay State Savings Bank might check with someone before they harass someone on a public sidewalk. Im mystified by your response??? What situation warranted my harassment by your employees??? Ignorance of an individuals rights might be forgiven however your arrogance about this non existing situation frankly baffles me! I would be interested in seeing your written guidelines concerning harassing and threatening to call Police on individuals on a public sidewalk! If you actually had a legitimate fear for the safety of your employees, customers and community then a more prudent and professional response would to Not confront a person you are fearful of (most prudent Corporate policies adhere to this) but to notify Law enforcement! I doubt very seriously that your employees followed Any training whatsoever and were just for whatever reason reactionary,compulsive,aggressive and arrogant when they left the confines of your establishment to come outside and harass me without cause! I reiterate that the several Officers that responded found that I had done nothing wrong! As far as discussing this further I will accept a public apology and be willing to drop the matter!

i was the victim of identity theft and the thief made purchases totalling $17,000 on my debit card...the bank did not chargeback the merchant so becaus eof them i lost $17000.Your money is simply not safe with them nor are they fdic insured so if they get robbed you lose everything in your account...

This company has had a complete upper management change. The new senior management does not value its customer or employees.

My experience working with with Heather and Baystate to obtain a mortgage was better than I couldve hoped for.
