Banker told me there was no extended hold and my check deposit would clear in 2 days. It did not clear. Lol. Garbage.

I have come to rely on the manager at this branch to help me navigate Citizens bank. She is a big help and consistently goes above and beyond.

By far the worse customer service from this location . Deposited $ 11,615.00 (mix of check & cash) , gave teller my id to look up my account number. She deposited into someone elses account . When I noticed it on weekend, customer service was closed. Called the branch directly, after being on hold with 800 # for an hour , Mercedes picked up the phone , very rude and instead of listening or apologizing for the mistake she said that this happens all the time. Either you come to the branch or keep being on hold with our 800# , nothing she can do and hung up after saying bye. I called Shrewsbury branch and the manager there was beyond helpful & was kind enough to take receipt information and showed willingness to help. I will never do business at west boylston location and will not recommend anyone to do business here. Incompetent , condescending, useless and lack of empathy is what they have at this location. Very shameful attitude & highly dissatisfied with their service & attitude

In March 2020 I was charged a $37.00 penalty for an overdraft of my checking account. I overdrew $120. I live totally on social security. My job driving for Uber had completely dried up. It took me some days to get my account squared away. I was shocked to see that every 3 days an additional $30 was tacked on to my balance due. That raised the penalty for overdraft to $127.00. This seemed just like piling on to me. It made me angry. When I went to speak to the manager at the West Boylston office about the additional fees I was told there was nothing they could do except forgive the original overdraft payment of $37.00. I ended up paying the bank $90 in penalties for a $120 overdraft. On Citizen's Bank's COVID 19 webpage in big letters: Ready to get through this together. In my opinion they did not live up to that pledge.
