Extremely rude Dr has no consideration for the patient in need and needs to remove his bias from the decisions he makes to treat someone.

I've had 2 molars pulled within a few years of each other and Dr .Shen was caring & professional but my favorite part is I never experienced a dry socket. Once in a while I experienced an extended wait time in the waiting room . I would recommend though.

They run a tight ship, and take great care of the patient. Left there after the extraction with no discomfort, no pain, no swelling, and healing was immediate. This is the second day since, and this 68 year old man is eating what he wants and not interruption of his normal day to day routine. Thank you Dr. Shay Shen!!

I have severe anxiety from dentists like this man, and the saddest part is, I went to a specialist, an oral surgeon, and he removed the WRONG tooth!!!!! I can tell you that I waited to make a complaint until I seen my regular dentist and had him print up the original referral that was not only sent to him one time, but it was also brought to the appointment for the consult so he had TWO copies of this original referral, and the tooth he pulled out is NOT numbered on that referral at all. How do you mess that up as a specialist? And now Im just screwed with a whole entire tooth that he WRONGFULLY took out that I cant replace. I can honestly say that my experience with him, pulling out my teeth, which was absolutely horrible, but its a lot worse that he took out a tooth that did not need to be taken out and one that I truly needed as I have Chrohns Disease so when I have flare ups, I vomit constantly, so my teeth have really suffered a lot of damage because of that so to have him take the wrong tooth, is absolutely devastating, and I bawled my eyes out when i realized later that day that he wrongfully left a tooth that was supposed to be removed, but I still had 5 holes so I knew a mistake had occurred right away but I did not know if it was my dentists fault at the time or the oral surgeons. Now I have FULL proof of all claims I am making right now, including the original referral, which this all happened in mid April so I waited until I had hardcore proof that he made a HUGE Mistake, and I have that now since this is NOT Libel, its the TRUTH and if you are going to have teeth removed by this oral surgeon, I would triple check that he has the right tooth number, because I made sure that he got a second copy of that referral because I had a bad gut feeling and he was asking me why they were keeping one of the back teeth that my dentist and I had agreed to have removed and thats the tooth that he left behind even though I told him I wanted that tooth taken out!!! And then he takes out a tooth number that wasnt even on that referral!!! I can definitely say I would NEVER recommend anyone to go to Dr. Shen unless you do not care about having teeth removed that arent supposed to be removed!! I also went to this oral surgeon because I had 2 difficult extractions that I was supposed to be put to sleep for, plus 3 other simple extractions, so later on that day, when the medication started wearing off, I couldnt believe the tooth that was supposed to be taken out was still there, but there was still five holes!!!! The procedure was absolutely HORRIFYING, and I was not put to sleep or put under in any way, shape or form, he injected me with fentanyl, and I was bawling my eyes out because It hurt so badly, and all he did was keep injecting me with more fentanyl, and I think I had a total of three shots and he was obviously concerned about how much medication he gave me as he walked me to my car and I didnt see him do that for any other patients, and I will tell you right now, that just gives me worst anxiety than I already have. Two of my biggest fears was being Wide awake and in pain during a five tooth extraction, and the dentist taking one of the wrong teeth out and BOTH of my biggest fears happened at this dentist office!! That sucks too because he was a very nice and personable dentist. I will say that, but he really made a mistake and he needs to fix that.
