**BEWARE** Karen's come in all forms!(Video didn't load, see stills). We were having a lovely time, enjoying this newly renovated/developed park. Signs clearly state, "No Dogs allowed in playground", and of course leash laws are in effect elsewhere. The playground was getting full of young kids. And this dog owner comes in with her wild bulldog/Rott mix - no leash or needing to control it in anyway dog. It was running everywhere and even found a local cat to chase. When I reminded her it needed to leave and be leashed she went straight into looney bin mode and insisted everyone else in park needed to mind their own business. The cops were called and a dog catcher was there within 20 minutes. We didn't stay to witness the outcome, but they took the call seriously, and the trash was handled. So, if you see this individual "woman" or anyone else trying to bring a dog here it will not be tolerated via 911. Other than that, the park was lovely and it was a perfect sunny cool day (4/22). The trail is small, and there are remnants of mini liquor bottles and graffiti on brook tunnels, but still a fun time and little adventures can be had with young children. The other drawbacks are no bathrooms, and it will be awful in the blazing summer heat as there are no trees or shade cover to anywhere.

Great park . Nice playground for the kids and even a " gym " for big kids ( adults ) . , Dog-friendliness: Lots of room to roam around . Picnic area: Lots of grass areas where you can toss down a blanket and have your picnic .

Nice playground with great rope climbing structures sure to keep even older kids happy! They can climb to an upper level that must be 10 feet off the ground. Toddler I was with had a great time on all the equipment and even loved the padded hill to challenge his walking on super steep slopes! There's a nice rope bridge between two structures with slides that was a nice challenge for this toddler. There were two huge saucer like swings that more than one kid could get on at a time. I've heard that this playground is uncomfortably hot during the heat of the summer because there's no shade, trees, or grass. It was great on this winter day.
