Forest Plaza Apartments

It's a decent spot, but over the past 3 months there's been consistent issues with package theft that haven't been addressed.

I would not recommend living in this place. Many of my packages have been stolen or opened and the owners won't even consider installing cameras. Also the washer and dryer are super old and broken most of the time.

The apartment has holes that chipmonks/nice use to go in and the apartments solution is to set up some mousetraps, not fix the holes. Other than that it has low quality general living utilities

I have never lived here, but considering becoming a tenant. The aesthetics of the property gives you an old majestic feel. Some units are newly remodeled, others are not but are maintained. The units I reviewed were larger than anticipated. Those that are remodeled were nicely done. Well maintained stairway and new elevator. The entry way could use sprucing up along with some of the service areas, but otherwise confortable for an individual, couple w/o children or a single parent of one. Modern security system, no AC, steam heat. Oh and you pay a percentage of all utilities, plus you have to pay for parking. For the price of these efficiencies you don't get many amenities. Has an old DT Detroit, NY or Chicago feel, but without the lime light.
