The New Foster Care

I absolutely love the work that The New Foster Care aims and strives for in the success and upbringing of the youth within our, and surrounding communities. Ive been doing work with them for a few years now and throughout all of its changes, the people here continue to look for the best internet of the youth. They are there for most of all resources Ive needed along with those I have referred to them for services. The partnerships and networking that Ive gained through The New Foster Care has truly changed my outlook on Social Workers. Its inspired me and helped me understand that policy, non profits, grants for programs and so forth, is the route for me.

The New Foster Care is an amazing program for young adults. They are genuinely there to help others succeed giving much needed support. I received help with obtaining my license, necessities for my children, along with many other nice gifts, and I was connected with an awesome therapist! I can truly say this non-profit organization is changing my life in the most positive way!

TNFC has been an extension of family for me and my brothers. Life is hard and family is something different to me than most people I think. I would like to thank Miss Glaspie for making me feel at home every time I walk in the office and to my worker Mr.Blake thank you for being in my corner and by empowering me as a adult and not taking over making me feel like I can't do it for myself. And Christmas was great this year thank you for being there for my family and for becoming a part of that family. I want to be a Social Worker and I plan to be a part of TNFC program as a leader one day.
