My doctor sent a prescription to COSTCO on 4/6/2020, during COVID-19 outbreak. When I called COSTCO regarding the pickup, I was informed that Bloomfield Township police would pick up my prescription and deliver it to my house (free delivery). I could hardly believe it, but it's true! Without any delay, the police came and left a bag of my prescription at the front door, in the afternoon on the day I called for pickup. What a service!!! We are so grateful we live in Bloomfield Township, the township that provides the best services to all residents! Thank you, thank you!!!

  • NOT GUILTY

I was arrested by the Auburn Hills police department after my boyfriend made a claim that I assaulted him and destructed his property. I was already at home when the Auburn Hills police dept sent 5 Bloomfield TWP police officers (I will add the names once I get the records) from my city to bang on my bedroom windows, and arrest me. My city’s police department, which included 2 or 3 police vehicles, did not ask me a single question about the incident, all they did was transfer me to the Auburn Hills police dept (city where false allegations were made) where they once again did NOT ask me a single question about what happened. My boyfriend had a small scratch on the side of his face. The whole side of my face was swollen, It was more than obvious there was more to this story. After photos were taken, I was immediately transferred to the Oakland County jail and booked. Guess what? Not a single person asked me my side of the story. I went through all of this for NO reason. My case went all the way to a Jury Trial where I was found NOT guilty. Think about how much money (Judge, Clerk, Lawyer, Prosecutor, Admin, Jurors, 10 Detectives, 2 pre-trials) was wasted on this case. The arresting officer (Michael Thomas, 6 year detective) even had the audacity to sit in the court room all day long simply because he wanted to. He was not sworn in and he was not a witness. I'm guessing it was an intimidation tactic since they (Cecil Robinson “Prosecutor”/State of Michigan/Auburn Hills) had nothing except 6 pictures of a broken $15 globe and 1 photo of my boyfriend’s face with a small scratch on his face. Detective Michael Thomas took these photos when he went to my boyfriend’s house that night. This “evidence” is what got me arrested, this evidence is what Cecil Roberson (now works at Detroit Land Bank Authority) tried prosecuting me with. What would have prevented this? Perhaps a conversation with the Bloomfield TWP police department, where I pay taxes! There were 5 police officers! Not one of them asked me a single question! And then I was transferred to the Auburn Hills police (Michael Thomas, 6 year detective) where once again, no one asked me my side of the story! A conversation would have drawn out the sequence of events and the truth about what happened. The Auburn Hills police department was completely responsible for this entire disaster, and the Bloomfield TWP police let it happen! I was put on a conveyor belt, I passed through 3 police stations and NOT one person asked me my side of the story. I don’t get to erase these memories. I get to live with them even though I was found NOT guilty. Here’s my warning, cops are ONLY interested in taking each situation and massaging it until they can get it to fit into a black and white law, which is all they are trained to do. Let’s be honest, cops aren’t highly educated, they are the perfect candidates to be given a set of rules. Cops aren’t paid to think, they are only paid to do. Their only job is to do whatever they can to coerce you into the system they understand. I have always respected the police (this doesn’t apply to Auburn Hills or Bloomfield TWP anymore) and I will continue to do so but I am definitely aware of what they are capable of. Don’t let them bully you. If you feel you have been taken advantage of, fight back. I am an educated person that has worked their whole life to get to this point and they almost took all of it away from me, without a second thought. We have enough bullies in this world, stand up for yourself.

Very friendly and professional officers. Another department that deserves more recognition for their positive community policing.
