Quick and got the price we wanted . It is always good to work with someone who knows not only their profession but also the neighborhoods the property is located in and audiences who will be interested in the property. Kudos to Mark Brown. Highly recommend.

Excellent! . I had an excellent experience with Koshy. He is knowledgeable and hard working. He was kind and professional. He went out of his way on many occasions to get the job done. He provided much attention to detail and did A LOT of leg work. I would recommend him without hesitation.

We owned a property that was given to us by our parents. We were first time sellers on the market, and we were hoping for a better experience from our real estate agent. There were many challenges that we faced throughout this process and we hoped Koshy would have been more help, rather then make the process difficult. 1.) Inadequate communication skills. There are many instances where he did a poor job relaying information to us as sellers. At times he would not explain terms or conditions to accept offers from buyers. For example, when we received our first offer on the house, he assumed that we knew the terms and conditions the buyer was offering. We were still learning how to understand the terms on offers and had minimal help from him. He never mentioned that we needed to sign the purchase agreement or what was required to accept the offer. When we told him that we agreed to the offer, the buyer's agent informed Koshy that they were withdrawing the offer. Koshy proceeded to get upset with us. He blamed us for the reason the offer was lost. 2.) Does not support his clients. Koshy made more attempts to accommodate the buyers more than the sellers. As we were negotiating the price with potential buyers, he seemed more interested in lowering the price for their advantage, rather than making sure we were getting the price that was fair to the value of the home. He would justify his decision by claiming that the home was in poor condition, or claimed the value of the home depreciated in a few months on the market, even below the appraised value. 3.)Unprofessional. He was rude on many occasions and was not open to ideas that didn't come from him. The way he spoke to us at times was demeaning. He would even question why we asked certain questions or shared our thoughts on how we wanted to handle the listing. At one point, I had to suggest that he hold an open house to continue to market and increase the interest on the house. 4.) Poor Reputation We required work that needed to be done on the house as it was built 25 years ago. Koshy did help us find contractors to provide quotes. When contractors came to their appointments they didn't recognize Koshy's name or had no past experience working with him. Their quotes would be more expensive and would add additional unnecessary work. We eventually had to ask other people for referrals to get the work done on the house. 5.) Struggles with Technology. Koshy did not seem to have past experience with their electronic document software Remine. Since there are three sellers and we don't live together, documents were being sent electronically so all of us could sign them. He would spend hours or a few days preparing the documents because he didn't know how to add three signatures to documents on Remine. It became such a problem that we had to download documents and signed them through Adobe or handwrite our signature and rescan the document to email back to him. Eventually we contacted his broker, Carol Boji, at ReMax to see if she could improve our experience and address the concerns with Koshy. Initially, Carol seemed interested and willing to help improve the way we were being treated. We shared a few of the emails and wrote her a letter explaining our concerns with Koshy. Unfortunately, Carol did nothing to address Koshy's conduct and avoided knowledging the information we shared with her. We would not recommend working with Koshy or ReMax Bloomfield Hills.

Want a lifelong friend? When I first met with Mark, I was not sure if I wanted to buy or rent. I even consulted with him on his opinion. Now Mark does not get paid obviously if I had chose to go the rent route, but he illustrated to be more than just a realtor looking to make a commission. Initially, unique to my specific circumstance he recommended I rent, and if I ever had any questions or needed help, to keep his contact information handy. Ive never liked pressure salesman in any industry, and even right off the bat he never gave me the sense that he was that kind of person. My circumstances eventually changed and I wanted to become a home owner, and he made the process as painless as the home buying process could be, realistically. Out of all the homes we looked at, he never pressured me to buy or secure into a home. He got an idea of what I was looking for and worked with me to help finalize exactly what I needed. Ive currently owned my home for about 2 months now, and I could not have called in love with a better home. If the house was anything less than what he believed I was looking for, he would have told me to walk away. Mark is the kind of guy who will walk with you on your house journey until the very end and even after. Anytime Ive needed something he doesnt hesitate to expedite his assistance. Im sure even 10 years from now I could call him for help and hed make sure Im taken care of in a heartbeat. If youre looking for a realtor that wants to make a sale and hes on to the next customer without a second thought about you, look elsewhere. Mark welcomes your friendship for a lifetime. He doesnt do this job just to make money; he genuinely loves what he does, and the people he works with you can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do as well. Hes getting up there in age, so touch base with him while you can! All jokes! Love you Mark!
