When Elise approached me to bring her Prenatal business into my space of Karma Yoga, I was thrilled. Her strong teaching and business skills allowed me to relax and know she would fully take care of my studio when she held her classes. There was no need for Karma Yoga staff when she was there saving me additional operating costs. What a treat to receive a check from Sweet Momma Yoga every month. It truly helped offset some regular expenses for me especially during the post-covid period when business was challenging. I loved having this important offering of yoga at my studio. It's a must to serve families bringing in new souls. Thank you Elise for all you do!

Elise is a warm-hearted and brilliant yoga teacher! She invests in each individual's experience due to her high level of sensitivity and attunement. She is business savvy and creative when it comes to developing niche business plans. I believe her prenatal training is the best out there and personally curated and customized to fit each students needs through individualized coaching. I am now confident to guide all birthing people on their pregnancy journey. Thank you Elise for a fantastic prenatal yoga program!

Elise is an absolute gem! Our paths first crossed during doula training and we quickly became kindred spirits. Her knowledge of the human body combined with her gentle, compassionate approach to supporting others sets her apart. If youre lucky enough to share space with her you will feel her calm, nurturing energy. It has been a privilege to work along side her and we are blessed to have her in the pregnancy/birthworker community!

Elise was my postpartum Doula and if you are on the fence about getting a doula, the answer is yes. Especially if you will be a first time parent. Its such an emotional journey and while your family and friends will all offer different types of support, they will often come emotionally charged or well intentioned yet unhelpful. Elise will offer exactly what you need bc you will tell her with no baggage attached. If you dont know what you need she will help you figure that out. Sometimes she is just someone to talk to and complain to! Its not just emotional support- its physical. Elise was originally my prenatal yoga teacher and her experience in yoga was such a help with my physical recovery. She also is very knowledgeable about how nutrition can help heal you during postpartum and alternatives to drugstore medicines if thats your choice. She also helps with food prep, grocery pick up, and light housework. Or will hold the baby so you have time to do things yourself. She has a ton of resources for everything you might need that she cant immediately provide herself and has a great community of moms on her Facebook group. Elise has so many qualifications but my biggest recommendation is that my partner and I trusted her at a time where we felt so protective and didnt want anyone within 10 feet of our baby. We trusted her in our home and with the little love of our lives.

I recently completed the Fall 2022 PYTT program with Elise Bowerman. I genuinely cannot recommend this program enough. I learned more than I ever imagined I would, not only about Prenatal/Postnatal Yoga, but also how Yogic philosophy, Ayurveda, Trauma sensitivity, and Pelvic Floor health apply to and are integral aspects of the prenatal/postnatal journey. Elise also provided us with important information about how to build a business based on all that we have learned which felt so encouraging and supportive. She has also created a beautiful community for pre/postnatal teachers to connect and support each other. This is a very well-rounded and thoughtfully curated program. Elise is very passionate about what she teaches and it shows! Thank you for everything, Elise!
