When they first opened, the food was amazing! I really loved the spicy chicken. Now I'm not sure what happened. I ordered a 12 piece spicy wing and get about 20 pcs of tiny chicken. Sometimes the chicken is really hard and just not fresh. I won't be ordering from this place again.

Id been to Bonchons in Troy before (it was great) but was wary to try this location because of the big difference in reviews - well, its like that for a reason. I got the chicken tenders.. it was essentially like I had ordered naked tenders. About 15% of the tenders actually had breading, which is insane considering this is a Korean Fried Chicken place, and the whole point is the crispy breading. This must be common at this location because I noticed other reviews mentioning that the chicken was overcooked - it gives an overcooked vibe because it was deep fried with barely any breading, so the outsides of most of the tenders were stringy and tough. And of course, not crispy at all, because of the lack of breading. Sauces were good, but overall not a good meal. Stick to the Troy location or stay away!

I would not recommend. I ordered veggie pot stickers that tasted like minced chicken meat, not vegetarian at all. I sent a picture of the potstickers and after much back and forth I was offered a return, but it was a to go item, I'm already home after a long day, and they would've been closed by the time I got back. I'll chalk this up to a $9 lesson not to eat there again. Vegetarian options: Noreally vegetarian options.
