Oakland Community College - Orchard Ridge Campus

The school snack bar is a joke. Do they really expect us to pay $5 for a drink we can buy for $2 at the gas station down the road? Student store is overpriced to the extreme. Dont buy anything from these criminals. I almost bought my engineering kit from the school store for $300 when they are selling them for $200 elsewhere. Office staff hate their job and are constantly rude, act like they have better things to do and gaslight you into thinking youre supposed to know everything already. A friend of mine went to western instead of here only because its so complicated to sign up and register for classes, and secretaries are of very little to no help.

Financial Aid: On 01/03/24, I was on hold for two hours. The first call was at 01:38 PM, and was informed to stay on the line. But unfortunately, I was hung up, and I don't remember the representative's name. The second call at 02:50 PM did the exact same thing, but this one had a different representative, and her name is Lynn. A third party financial provider sent authorization (funds) to OCC Financial Office on December 18th of 2023 for two classes, but an email was sent to me at midnight today that they were deregistered. The reason why they deregistered, I came to find out, was because they forgot to hold my classes. One class is saved, but the second class is on a waitlist by three seats thanks to this office. They better hope I get my class back, and that someone doesn't lose their job. What a horrible error. I would personally fire someone, if it were up to me.

I was visiting a friend a witnessed students of the campus physically and verbally attack a group of people peacefully demonstrating an anti abortion cause. These animals literally kicked, spat on this girl and eventually police showed up, when they escorted out the group, haggle ers followed these people and cause a big scene! Dont enroll your kids here. Animals and crazy people here
