I like GameStop because my kids love it but the workers that work inside of them are off. Very very rude. No customer service image or anything. He argued back a lot and showed he didnt care. The worker name is Logan. He wears glasses. I did wanna reach out to the district manager about this situation before its too late. I can only imagine how hes treating others. All I know is I was a customer at this location but Im going across the street to target to get my children their gaming stuff from now on. This happened today Monday the 13th of November at approximately 1:15pm.

Up until now it has been pretty ok service, this gamestop is the closest one to my home. I have the warranty on my Xbox controllers because it's a good deal and it's convenient when the controller starts to drift or have issues. I have never had an issue exchanging my controller, if they don't have the exact one they usually find another one of the same value. I was told today that they didn't have my controller so i said thats fine, could i get a different one of the same value and the lady working said it's store policy that they cannot exchange it for a different one of the same value. I was surprised as no other employee has ever said this and I believe I have worked with the manager before as I exchange them about once a month for over a year now. She said she didnt want to lose her job so i needed to go to a different location. If it is the policy, I don't blame this employee but I do blame the other employees for giving a false standard for the entire year and a half I have been doing this with my controllers. This controller doesn't work and the next location is 20 minutes from my home so it is very inconvenient. So to the store manager or owner, you really should either set a standard amongst all employees or just allow the exchange because it's the same value and same controller, just a different color. I've never had an issue, no resistance, no mention of like "Hey we can make an exception this time but we're not supposed to", nothing. So I had the false expectation that this was an easy process. What the he'll gamestop.
