I stopped into the Fremont location today to add a line to my current plan and upgrade a phone on an existing line. I was told that it was mandatory that we pay for the insurance for at least 4 months for both phones then we could cancel it (turns out he actually only added the coverage to one of them anyway). I was also told that as part of the "promotion" we were getting, it was mandatory that we purchase 2 accessories per phone (we spent over $80 on the over priced accessories ) The employee also told me that with the promotions we were getting, we needed to switch our plan to a better one. Finally, we were told the tracker was free as part of the promotion and he had to give it to us. After I got home and talked to a few people, I decided to call T-Mobile Customer Care. The insurance and accessories were NOT required. There is a fee for the tracker which he never went over, and we absolutely did not have to switch plans. The "better" plan was of no benefit to us and was actually more expensive. It's really unfortunate that the T-Mobile employee blatantly lied about many things ( assuming to help towards his sales goals). I wonder how many other customers he has lied to?

Becca and Nicole were amazing to work with today, they went above and beyond to help us get into the phones also while helping us get through to customer service for a card issue! Will always recommend this store to anyone. Great group of people who work here!
