Dr. Hyun Shin MD

I saw Dr. Shin somewhere else. My review is going to be the same as the others. It's like talking to a wall. No help at all given a medication for something I'm not even diagnosed with. Smh I've had four different doctors tell me he had no reason to give me this medication then. Thank God I never took it. And the other place where I was then God I spit it down the sink. This man should lose his license for the things I've seen him do

Never would I do this if it was not completely necessary. I LOVED ALL THE STAFF, but this man did not even listen to a word I said, I felt like I was speaking to the wall. I had to repeat myself and was asked things I had told him numerous times. I have been on an anxiety medication for FIVE years, I started going her because my old Dr doesn't accept my new insurance. He tried to tell me the medication that has ACTUALLY been helping me was not okay to take for more than 2-3 weeks, all because of a copied article out of TIME magazine. He was super unprofessional and made me feel like a drug addict, WHICH I AM NOT. I don't even drink and he asked me About my drinking more than once when I told him I DO NOT DRINK. I also told him I was unhappy with my antidepressant and he wrote me the same antidepressant, I tried to speak up and was blown off. I left crying hysterically feeling as if I was hopeless and with me Being on new insurance, I had no where to turn. It took me a very long time to get in there. The staff, my case worker Lakisha, and my intake woman were AMAZING. All very very professional, all very sweet and all very helpful! I was discouraged and had almost called my insurance company to complain, but the man is 80 and I figured I would call CCS again maybe tell them the situation instead of giving up. The woman I spoke to was absolutely AMAZING, helpful and made me feel at ease :) I now have an appointment with a different Dr (Dr Patel) next week, I am hoping and praying I get the help I really need, I am trying to be the best me I can be. I hope this man retires, he was not professional, he was not caring and he was extremely rude. More
