Their LLC Financing Structure is flawed. Company takes advantage of the customer and finances the property in an LLC but does not allow the customer to do the same. Also charges a monthly $20 fee to the customer but does not provide the customer the right to also utilize an LLC in financing. Sounds like a "money grab" to me.
I called to inquire and was told this is a requirement as part of their financing models. In MI an LLC costs $50 to form and $25 a year to keep, yet this company wants $240/year for their protection. Sounds like a tacky way to add fees. $240 yearly * 30 years = $7,200 extra dollars in their pockets, that is a lot of extra costs.
