Not only was my experience with getting a credit card easy and fast, the Vibe Credit Union staff was patient, kind and understanding with my circumstances and got me approved within minutes, so that I can build my credit. I had a loan officer pre-approve me one day then tell me I was denied a week later. What happened within that timeframe? Once the type of car I wanted was provided, I was denied a loan I was pre approved for due to being delinquent with Vibe. That is confusing as I have one CURRENT up to date loan along with a paid off auto loan. The loan officer ignored my calls and did not even resubmit me for more money (like i asked) until I was forced to come into the office. The rest of the faculty is great never had an issue with vibe. However, this is discriminatory lending practices which is ILLEGAL. I had a loan through vibe for 5 years NOT DELINQUENT. Yet, I am denied for delinquencies with vibe. HIGHLY unsatisfactory. Do not attempt to borrow money if you are YOUND and BLACK or just make sure you get a loan officer who cares about making it fair. I understand being denied from jump but to be pre-approved, told to look for a car, then told oh we cant give it to you. I have something on my credit outside of vibe however two other loan officers approved me. So I wonder what the real discrepancy was. Will never be returning to get a loan when someone else will give it to me and wont ignore my calls and emails. If you do choose vibe my loan officer Jeffery should be your last option if youre anything like me.
