Kristi Balding's Music Studio

Two of our sons have been taking piano lessons from Miss Kristi for two years, now. Her teaching continuously evolves to keep students interested. She will also adjust her approach to specific students needs. Our two boys are quite different and are motivated in different ways, learn in different ways, and progress at different speeds. Miss Kristi handles this with aplomb. Most importantly, our kids really like her and enjoy going to their lessons each week. Each year the students participate in a formal recital, have parties with the other students and learn about musical history. In our research, this is something that few music teachers do.

We started our daughter piano lessons with Ms. Kristi when she was 4 year old . Now, she is 11 and she continues to flourish in playing the piano with Ms. Kristi’s guidance. My younger son, whom I used to bring to her studio as a baby, while my daughter practiced is now also her piano student. We could not have asked for a better teacher who is creative, patient and upbeat than Ms. Kristi. She not only teaches them music, but imparts in them discipline and responsibility by making sure they do their home practices in a fun way. We are so fortunate that she has started virtual learning as a way to make up class before the pandemic. Then, when the world was forced to close its doors to in person learning, Ms. Kristi continued teaching her students virtually. Mind you, it is still effective like she was in person! ( and we can do it at the comfort of our home). I highly recommend Kristi Balding’s Music Studio. A lot of fun and a lot of learning!

Kristi is the best! I had lessons when I was in school and hadn't played since. Part of my bucket list was to get back to the piano. Kristi not only awoke my long-forgotten lessons but got me playing things I would never have believed. She is a woman of great faith and infinite patience. Now, at 68, I can sit down each day and play. Thank you!!!
