Came to see a band play, ended up trying the food, it was amazing, they have a smoker for the meats ON SITE. Staff was amazing! had a great night and plan to come again sometime. I the skeleton decor and handmade sign aesthetic. Everyone I came with seemed to feel comfortable in the authenticity of the punk/goth/. a good crowd seems to be there. I work local so maybe I just might get bbq for lunch often and have found a new spot.

This place is amazing. It may seem like a dive, and maybe in some ways it is, but it is so extremely comfortable to anyone who comes in. The drinks are great, the staff is amazing. The BBQ though is outstanding. It's the best BBQ I've ever had. The ribeye sandwich is easily top 2 sandwiches of all time. The burnt ends are the juiciest and tastiest I've ever had. The sides are fantastic. The chef Kurt is redefining the barbecue smoker scene in all of southwest Michigan - and the prices are GREAT. Don't sleep on this place. It is kind, accepts you as you are, and is setting the high water mark on BBQ in Michigan.

Best barbecue in Ypsi, hands down. This guy can cook a steak better than your old man. It's so tender you can cut it with the plastic utensils he gives you to eat it with and you're not complaining. The dirty rice holds up to what I've had in New Orleans too. Get yourself the ASAP.
