Watching him make arguments in the courtroom is like looking at a well crafted piece of art. Some of the time I have no idea what's going on because like good art, it's over my head, but I still know it's good and very much appreciate it. I recently had an encounter with Meinerts Law Firm that I found to be highly unprofessional. The firms clerk specifically instructed me to provide my contact information for mediation, as a mediator appointed by the Court of Appeals was set to conduct it. Despite sharing my information as requested, there was a complete lack of communication from the firm until the day of the pre-mediation session. During this pre-mediation, the mediator, Meinerts, addressed both parties simultaneously rather than individually. This approach not only fostered confusion but also set an unprofessional tone for the session. Furthermore, Meinerts outlined mediation rules that contradicted those established by the district court in 2022. When explaining the rules set by the 10th District in September 2022, Meinerts abruptly decided to withdraw from the case. This decision was based on an objection to the introduction of new exhibits via email by the motioning party. Its important to note that the appeals case in question hinges on the respondent's failure to adhere to court rules and alleged perjury, stemming from improper service. Thus, the mediator's disregard for the case's prolonged history, spanning 11 years, and the initiation of the mediation session that allowed for cross-talk between the petitioner and respondent, showcased a lack of professionalism and understanding crucial for handling such sensitive matters. This experience has left me questioning the professionalism and commitment of Meinerts Law Firm to effectively mediate complex legal matters, an observation I share in hopes of informing others.

I had a great experience working with Merlyn Meinerts Law office this past year involving a divorce settlement. Merlyn was a fantastic advocate for me in settling my case. He was timely on responses to my questions and presented a very professional demeanor in representing my case. I cant thank him enough. I have worked with Merlyn for over a decade - actually 13 years. I dont know how I would have made it through some of those hardest days without him. He is an excellent attorney who remains laser focused. Merlyn fought for me and my daughter even when it seemed things were not in our favor. There is no other attorney I would recommend above him. The choice of representation is one of the most impactful decisions you will make and choosing Mr. Meinerts is one you wont ever second guess yourself on.
