James Bergstrom, MD

Dr Bergstrom is an excellent doctor! He's been our boys doctor for nearly 15 years through 4 boys ranging in age originally from 6 and an infant to now 17, 13, and 9. Our adult son having moved on to a skin specialist as his main doctor. My middle son toed in significantly as an infant... Dr Bergstrom evaluated him and reassured us he'd self correct as he ages. That son is now 17 and has no noticable issue just as Bergstrom said. Our adult son had severe eczema and Bergstrom helped us through several ointments till he found one that helped. We've had lectures from Dr Bergstrom about the boys weight but since he's known our family so long he knows they are very chunky babies (according to the chart) and slim out as they stretch and grow by grade school. We've had only excellent interactions with Dr Bergstrom. Our insurance changed or we'd still be with this Doctor. We're hoping that changes because we want Bergstrom to continue to be our boys doctor. He knows our boys and we trust and respect him as their doctor.

Repeatedly said there was nothing wrong with my child's growth chart that seemed very concerning to me (Dropped from 60th percentile to the 0.2 percentile). By the time I got to someone else, she was so far behind in her growth, losing weight at 5 months. Found out there was a tongue tie and inadequate feeding happening. It was harder to get insurance to cover things this late in the game because the appointments I needed are usually done right away. Also gave us some outdated information on feeding (telling is to start solids at 4 months). And said there was nothing wrong with my one month old being awake for 5-6 hour stretches without a nap.

I'm SO thankful that I found Dr Bergstrom! He is a fabulous, caring doctor. He listens and answers any questions I have. I would highly recommend him!
