I lived at Windsong for a couple years and my stay there was amazing. Yes things brake and need repair but everything always got handled. I would recommend it to anyone out there. Darla was by far the best!

Really quiet neighborhood, but upstairs neighbors for part of the time where pretty noisy. They added hardwood flooring that was supposed to be refinished but that never happened. Still nice having a walk in garage and the nature in the patio.

First off, you can't beat the location. Purgatory Creek path is right out your back door, and it's about a mile away from Staring Lake - a path that the city does its best to make accessible year-round. In the summer, Staring hosts TONS of events that are fun to plan for or just stumble upon, whether it's a concert or a carnival. Second, I think it's rare in EP to find an affordable place with a one-car attached garage AND central air. Windsong has this. If your household has two cars, I imagine juggling around snow removal is not fun. That may be a consideration for you. I've been a renter on and off for twenty years, and Darla is the best property manager I've ever met. She cares so much about your experience here, and it's evident from day one. I have needed things fixed in my three years here, and the response is always very fast. And if I've had a problem at 11 pm on a weekend, she's made sure I am set up to comfortably live with the situation until someone can make it in. Overall, the only reason I'm leaving is because my SO and I bought a house. I'd absolutely live here again if retirement makes me want to rent and stay in MN. It's cute and cozy and....dang you just can't beat that daily walk/run around the best lake!
