We had Monster remove one large tree, trim two others and treat two ash trees. The price was very reasonable. The work was done in a timely manner and was done well. We were also impressed with the clean-up. There were no branches or sticks left on the lawn at all.

Initially, everything went well and the owner was very polite and responsive. We received our contract and agreed to everything listed. Some of the services we verbally discussed were not listed in the contract, but we didn't think this was a big deal at the time because we felt heard, and like they were going to take care of the services we discussed in person. After 3-4 weeks of not hearing anything back, I reached out and asked if we were on the schedule yet. We felt forgotten, because they ended up coming out the next day. The crew was at our home for one to two hours and the trees were not trimmed the way we had verbally agreed to. One of the trees outlined in the contract was left untrimmed. The owner came back out to look at the job after I brought up my concerns, but I felt very dismissed. They finished trimming the tree listed in the contract but said he was going to charge extra if we wanted the services done that we had initially verbally requested. We definitely feel taken advantage of due to our inexperience working with a tree trimming service and our age. The owner and my husband got into a heated discussion via email but no compromise was achieved. I fully anticipate to a reply from the company defending themselves, and rightfully so since there are two sides to every story. However, this was part of my reasoning for not posting a review sooner, but as a consumer, it's important to hear from everybody's experience good or bad prior to requesting a service. Very professional throughout the whole process from the estimate to the day there team came and pruned and removed trees. They raked and cleaned up and hauled away the brush and tress.
