Delayed completing and filing resulting in THOUSANDS in penalties. By far the worst interaction with anyone I have done business with in the accounting profession. He bought one of my old accountant's book of business and has run the practice into the ground. Stay away, go to H & R Block or really to anyone else. Don't let them cause you more tax headaches unnecessarily. One star just because I couldn't give Dotzenrod a zero.

Horrible to work with. Never communicated with us at any step of the way. Called 4 times asking for someone to just tell us what the status of my grandpa's taxes were and they gave us the run around again and again. I would not recommend working with them.

Tom Dotzenrod has prepared my tax returns for over 30 years, I followed him when he moved his office from the New Hope area to Edina because I find him reliable, helpful and most important knowledgable!! I have referred four family members to Tom. They have all been VERY satisfied.. Tom is quietly efficient, does not promise more than he can deliver. He inspires confidence. Over the years I have had some difficult tax questions and always believed I got the best answers and advice. My elderly parents, who are very set in their ways were super impressed with Tom and his tax advice. My daughter who is POA for her father had many difficult tax issues.......she found such comfort in knowing Tom was aware and competent in filing appropriate returns. In short........we think Tom Dotzenrod is the best and cannot recommend him more highly than we do!! Ann Ahlquist and family
