These guys are absolute angels! Our furnace died in negative degree weather they came out that same day determined it needed to be replaced. They set up a time to come the very next morning and left us with some space heaters so we didnt freeze. The next morning they were at my house and installed everything in less than 5 hours. After nearly 23-yrs we decided to replace original Furnace, AC and Water Heater before experiencing a failure. Called a handful of local providers, and talked with Josh at K and M Heating Inc., out of Faribault. Within 30-min Jeff from K and M Heating Inc. showed up to provide quote, and a few days later Devin and Tanner were onsite to install. The professionalism displayed, and real care for the customer from initial contact through installation, and inspection by city was apparent. Would recommend K and M Heating Inc. to anyone needing Furnace, AC and Water Heater replacement, or work on any house mechanicals. I received multiple offers for a new A/C and Furnace but I choose K&M heating because they are very knowledgeable and professional. They answer the phone promptly and respond. My AC unit stopped working during a hot spell near the end of September. I am a Do-It-Yourselfer so I did some research and replaced a couple of parts, but still no luck. I called K&M late Tuesday afternoon and spoke with Jeff. I explained my situation and what I had replaced. I asked A LOT of questions. Jeff took the time to answer my questions and troubleshoot some possible issues. He talked with me, not at or over me (a rarity in my experience). I decided that I had done all that I was comfortable doing, so Jeff sent a technician out the next morning. Jim arrived when scheduled and got straight to work. He ran some diagnostics and explained to me that the compressor had seized up. I talked with Jeff later that day, and we discussed my options. Again, Jeff answered several of my questions. Due to the unit being over 25 years old and the cost of replacing the compressor, it made the most sense to purchase a new AC unit. With an upcoming garage project next spring/summer which will require the unit to be relocated, Jeff explained and advised waiting to get a new unit until we know precisely where we will be placing it. No sales pitch, no pressure, just straight honesty. He even waived the service call fee as there was nothing to repair! Over the course of the whole experience, I spoke with three different guys. Each one of them took the time to talk with me and answer all my questions. When it comes time to purchase a new unit, you can bet your butt I will be calling K&M!

These days it isn't always easy to find a service that is based on "service," but K&M Electric is! We called K&M Electric to find out about moving our central a/c unit. Josh (owner) came to our home same day. After learning about why we wanted to move our a/c unit, he carefully considered what we had in mind and explained how it could come together. He clarified everything by reminding us that it was an old unit (43 years, as a matter of fact) and that it may not successfully survive the move. He didn't try to "sell" us anything and was incredibly professional and personable. After careful consideration, we opted to replace the a/c unit. Josh gave us a fair estimate and scheduled us for the replacement. K&M Electric technicians were on-time and equally professional & personable. They worked efficiently and accurately, and I have to say, it was one of the hottest summer days of 2023! They cleaned up their work space(s) when they were done with the job, too. Two really nice techs who represent a really nice owner. Josh was right on-point with his initial estimate and there were no surprise charges on the statement. Lastly, our new a/c is quiet and very efficient. Very impressive. My husband and I were, and are, very happy with K&M Electric and you will be too. I know that if we need any electrical work in the future, K&M Electric will be the only electrician that we call. You should too. Service: Installation
