The Hutch House B&B, aka the 'Painted Lady', is a lovely historic site and wonderful place to stay in friendly Faribault. Easy entry, beautiful furnishings, modern conveniences, and private bath. Short walk into downtown for touring, treats, meals, and shopping. While biking for a day on the local Sakatah Singing Hills State Trail, we had a lovely couple nights in our Hutch suite. Would visit again, and we just come from nearby Twin Cities. Great hosts on site, if you need assistance. Nearby activities: Close to shops, restaurants, services. Many bike trails and sites in the area. Be sure to walk around and engage with locals, as it's a friendly town with a slower pace. Don't miss the historic Tilt-A-Whirl landmark on Central and the old Faribault Mill on the North end of town, still weaving and selling quality woolens. Walkability: Short walk of a few blocks to downtown Faribault.

We had a wonderful stay here! We drove down from Minneapolis for a weekend getaway, and everything was lovely. The owner was so accommodating and sweet, and the breakfast (with vegetables from her own garden) was outstanding! You can tell so much love and care goes into this place, too. Its a real gem. Thank you for the fantastic time!

What a beautiful home and such a gracious host! We booked the entire home for a wedding. Olena was so kind and very helpful. She gave the bride and groom a sweet bouquet of flowers at breakfast, it was such sweet gesture. By the way the breakfasts were amazing, you won't leave hungry! I highly recommend this B & B!
