Big Chief Truck and Auto Plaza

I like to write positive reviews when I have a positive experiences. Because most reviews are only submitted by people when they are bothered. But today, im the bothered one. I was traveling on I94 & stopped at the Big Chief in Fergus Falls like I have so many times prior. I will never go back again. this is now the third time I've had an offputting experience. Each time, the employees are rude, treat me like a criminal, or completely ignore me. My baby was having a hard time so I pulled all the way to the back of the parking lot. As far as I could go to be out of the way. I proceeded to nurse him, but they sent one of their employees out to my car - maybe assuming i was planning on dumping garbage in their dumpster. i was super uncomfortable as she walked a foot from my car intimidatingly but didnawayt say a word. I proceeded to put him back in his car seat & pulled around to fuel up. Then pulled up to the building to run in & grab a bottle of water. before I was even fully into the establishment she very rudely yelled at me that I needed to go back out & move my car because I was blocking other spaces. There was 1 other car in the lot, & that was at the pump. There are no lines, no signs, nothing to make it known that there are even parking spaces, & I was quite literally going to be inside for 60 seconds or less. Given the prior interaction where im certain she saw me place baby back in his carseat still crying, I'd guess she knew how stressed I already was. But like the stops at this place I'd had before, she chose to be abrasive & rude, looking "down" on me from her elevated platform from behind that cash register. Her egotistical pedestal, if you will. It takes literally no effort to be kind. But I had neither the time, nor the crayons, to explain the concept to her. I will move on & never worry about you again, Big Chief employee. May the rest of your day be as pleasant as you are. That is all.

My husband and I are over the road truck drivers and have stopped at countless truck stops in the past. But the is by far the worst one we have been to, we were looking forward to taking a shower but as soon as we go into the shower room all you could smell is sewer. It continued to go worse when we ran the water for a long period of time. Very disappointed in a $10 dollar shower.

Plenty of parking for your rig! The cafe is excellent! Bison burgers for me and the dog. She gave 4 paws up!!!
